There's no charge for the first contact regarding administrative or social matters. Costs are determined with the client after the case has been reviewed. 

Terms and Conditions for Psychological Consultations

1. Purpose of meetings:
• psychological consultation (1 – 2 meetings), helps define difficulties, the goal of the work, intensity, and approximate duration of Our meetings,
• established goals, due to the dynamic nature of the process, may be subject to modifications.


2. Methods, techniques, and potential alternatives:
• I use techniques and methods from cognitive-behavioral, integrative, and systemic approaches
• the basis of meetings is insight, confrontation, clarification, and interpretation of the causes and meanings of behaviors and feelings.


3. Maintaining neutrality, respect for the personal views of all parties:
• the relationship between a psychologist and a patient is based on a lack of judgment, criticism, or calls to order; the psychologist's work involves establishing a "therapeutic dialogue,"
• the psychologist enables free and uninhibited expression of needs, feelings, thoughts, and fantasies, without imposing topics,
• the psychologist accepts the patient with everything the patient brings,
• in situations where there is a transference of emotions, directed at another person, onto the psychologist, the psychologist has the right to communicate this to the patient.


4. Conditions regarding meetings:
• a session with a psychologist lasts according to the form of the meeting; the time provided on the website is the total time, including any breaks,
• meetings with a psychologist take place once a week, with the possibility of increasing or decreasing their frequency,
• a patient's absence from a session without any prior notice will be treated as a resignation from further meetings,
• in case of doubts or a desire to change the session date, the patient can contact the psychologist by phone or via Whatsapp, and the psychologist commits to calling back if they cannot answer the phone,
• the psychologist commits to informing the client in advance about their planned and unplanned absences.


5. Payments:
• the cost of a session with a psychologist is provided in the service price list on the main page, payable before each session by bank transfer according to the mutually agreed payment method for sessions,
• the patient pays for all sessions, with the exception of: – sessions canceled by the psychologist – sessions canceled with at least one week's notice due to the patient's vacation travel – sessions canceled due to the patient's hospitalization or physical illness,
• in cases where the patient cancels a session on the same day it was scheduled or does not appear for the session without notice, they are obligated to pay for that session.

6. Addressing doubts about therapy, the psychotherapist, or the client:
• The patient has been informed about the possibility of a deterioration in their psychophysical state during sessions – which may be a result of changes occurring within the patient during the sessions,
• The psychologist may suggest a psychiatric consultation or a consultation with another specialist if they deem it necessary for the treatment process,
• The psychologist has the right to suspend sessions if the client's actions or behaviors are harmful or life-threatening to themselves – sessions can be resumed if the patient ceases or significantly reduces the aforementioned behaviors (also with the help of other specialists) – on mutually agreed terms.


7. Expected results/effects of therapy:
• The psychologist is not responsible for whether, how, or with what outcome the patient applies new knowledge gained during sessions in their life,
• Goals discussed during consultations and their realization, even partial, will be recognized as effects and/or results.


8. Principle of confidentiality, voluntariness, and informed consent for meetings:
• In cases of crisis situations threatening the client's life, the client agrees to the psychologist contacting their family or relevant services,
• The client commits to honesty with the psychologist and active participation in sessions,
• The psychologist commits to treating the client in accordance with the professional code of psychologists and by utilizing their experience and psychological knowledge,
• It is the psychologist's duty to maintain professional secrecy and full discretion regarding the course of sessions and the client's personal data; with the exception of situations where the client provides written authorization to close persons for the possibility of obtaining information about their treatment,
• Exceptions to maintaining professional secrecy are situations when: the life or health of the client or others is endangered, or when other acts and general legal provisions stipulate the waiver of secrecy.


9. Information about the psychologist's qualifications:
• The patient has the right to ask questions regarding the psychologist's qualifications: diplomas obtained, courses, schools completed.


10. Patient Rights:
• The patient has the right to ask questions and receive feedback regarding the meetings and their progress,
• Regardless of requirements and mental state, during sessions, the patient has the right to respect, dignity, and the physical and mental integrity of their personality, without discrimination against either,
• The psychologist may not exploit the patient's trust during cooperation for political, ideological, or personal manipulation (emotional dependence, economic interests, sexual relationships).


11. Session Interruption:
• The patient has the right to end meetings before the mutually agreed-upon date if they deem it necessary; they are then asked to inform the psychologist of this decision in advance – preferably during a session – and to complete at least one closing session,
• The psychologist has the right to cease working with a patient only for valid reasons, but must inform the patient beforehand and recommend another psychologist or psychotherapist,
• In case of a complaint or grievance, the patient may contact a professional organization or the judiciary.
